Event Description
CERT is a partnership between the fire department and the people we serve. Our goal is to train members of neighborhoods, community organizations, and the places we work in basic response skills.
CERT is always seeking new volunteers.
To get started as a volunteer
Step 1: Go to https://www.fema.gov/community-emergency-response-teams and take the online IS-317 Introduction to CERT Course
Step 2: Contact Tyler Black at 702-305-1081 or tblack@mesquitenv.gov or Mike Benham at 702-346-2690
Step 3: Attend the two hand on class
The next two-day class is scheduled for February 27 and 28, from 8am to 12pm, at Fire Station 3
